1 Description It occurs as white crystalline powder having a cotton-candy odor and a sweet, fruitlike flavor in dilute solution.
2 Identification
Test (A)
(A) The retention time of the major peak in the chromatogram of the assay preparation corresponds to that in the chromatogram of the standard preparation obtained in the assay.
3 Solubility It is one g dissolves in about 55 mL of water, 10 mL of alcohol, 17 mL of propylene glycol and 5 mL of chloroform.
4 Residue on Ignition Not more than 0.2%.
5 Water Not more than 0.5%.
6 Assay Not less than 99.0% on the anhydrous basis.

PACKAGING

MOLHOL® EM is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
